No good deed goes unpunished (For those of you who DON'T know...my account got banned for spamming).

The wonderful people at Anet banned me for spamming (Sunday night). When I asked why...here's the response I got: "(repeated 52 times) Hex Iceglimmer (all - Shing Jea Monastery) This feast brought to you by [Pent]! check us out pent.mmoguildsites.net Luxon! (5 guild|1.2mil alliance) PM for info

I'm afraid that we do consider a repeat of 52 times to be spamming."

So lesson learned: don't try and help an outdated event still be fun for other players by making sure they get fireworks and crap. Instead..let them stay in this "holding pattern" and die off until Guild Wars 2 comes out. Maybe they'll have a dragon mask in it, too! Then we can ALL be happy!

I've also gotten PM's in game saying other members of other alliances got banned for sponsoring a district (probably spamming as well).

60-something hours. 3 days was the original time. I just don't know when it started. Anyways...I'll just log in on my other account during that time.

lol owch. i was banned a week ago, since i said one cuss word to some 8 year old, and apparently he had his mom and a couple of friends watching the game and he was explaining to them why GW was so great and all. so then his friends got into their own accounts later, while i was still ABing, and started reporting me. lol it was sooo stupid.

ya, most of the time ppl will report u for doing this randomly. i had reported someone for giving me constant death threats once, when i had ignored her, her guild started giving me threats, eventually anet had decided that the guild as a whole had done nothing wrong.... only the person who had started it. anet's wisdom i guess.
